okay me and some friends were just trying to find any deals on three tickets to hawaii to visit our friend. 700+ dollars and everyday the price the rising. i tried expedia, the airport, google flights; they were uselsss. i get an instagram ad for this app and i think well this could be good.i live in a medium deals area so its not a lot and i didnt see the trip i wanted. bummer. you can type where you are trying to go and they’ll let you know if they find something.two hours later, i get a notification… they found a deal. WE SAVED OVER $200 EACH WITH ITS DEAL!! I’m amazed. I love traveling so I’m definitely going to keep this app around. the money i saved pays for the app itself!

I discovered this app through a coworker, and it’s been perfect for us as frequent travelers in retirement. My husband prefers business class for long international flights, so I upgraded to the $199 elite membership to get premium fare notifications. The app itself works beautifully. My only negative, and why it’s not 5 star: I can’t add my husband to receive alerts. Since he does most of our planning, it would be a welcome feature if the elite membership let us both get notifications, instead of me sending him multiple screenshots for every notification.Overall, this is one of my favorite travel apps, but it could be a five-star app with this additional feature.

I have been using this app for a year or two. I’ve found a few stellar deals but I hate that i am getting many emails from them with preview snippets that don’t exist when I open the email. It feels deceitful. I am paying for the app because I want the deals, I don’t need more incentive to open an email. IE “the best part of the Virgin Islands is not having to sear. . .” And then I open the email and there is no finished sentence. Feels like click bait.

The app only is functional as a shopping tool. The app DOES NOT sync or pull in trips that were created on the Going website. When you add a trip on the web, it doesn’t appear in the app. The app relies only on what you set up within the app itself. And you can’t even do that unless you set up unwanted alerts. The Going Help Center clarifies this limitation under "Common Membership Issues." It confirms that while Premium and Elite members have exclusive access to My Trips via the mobile app, the feature is tied specifically to setting alerts. It doesn’t allow viewing or syncing previously created web trips.

In other words, you paid your money. you have an account. You can’t use your account using tha App. Absolutely unsatisfactory. Deleting app as it is essentially non-functional for tracking my preferred trips.
