Going: Find Flight Deals 4+

Free trial saved me $250!

I’ve only used the free trial but I’m pretty sure I’m just going to fully subscribe after this next trip. I already had a flight booked though southwest before finding this app, and during the free trial as I was exploring apps planning another trip, it alerted me that the price dropped on my previously booked flight! For a family of 4, that totaled $250 I was refunded by southwest! Super pumped - app is fantastic.

Buggy and illogical

I was a long time subscriber to Scott’s Cheap Flights, although admittedly I haven’t had a paid subscription in the last year or so. I recently decided to give it another go after completing some recent travel that I booked on my own. Downloaded the app today after being prompted to do so through email and can already see this is not the service for me anymore.

I prefer email to the app. I don’t need yet another app on my phone. And in particular I don’t need one that doesn’t work. Filters in the same category (for at least some) are treated as “and” rather than “or” leading to no return results. In addition, the app has constantly been crashing and I’ve only had it for a few hours. I will definitely be canceling this subscription prior to the end of the trial period.

It's been a while, but we have added so many improvements to the app and its speed - we'd love for you to come give it another try! We've just launched our Price Alerts feature within My Trips, where you can specify dates AND cabin class!

Not really functional

I took the trial on the full version as I am an international traveller and get exhausted looking for deals. Once installed I put in my next destination, Manila in the Philippines. Not found. Then put in five more recent ones that are more off the beaten path: Yerevan, Tashkent, etc. App did not recognize any of them. I plan to go to Dubai next year so figured that would be more popular and yes it found that airport. But none of the other airports were found and I was not able to save any future alerts even for Dubai. So far I see no value and cancelled my subscription. Appears to be functional only for very popular destinations although I was surprised that even Manila was not found.

Our app does include searches for destinations like Manila and the others mentioned, but sometimes deals may not appear if there aren't any available from your specific departure airport at the time of your search. For instance, today we do have a deal from LAX to Manila for $754 roundtrip.
