Has potential
The game doesn't have great graphics, and you do have to tap a whole lot in the beginning, but it looks like it has some potential for those who like clicker games. And I probably would have ended up playing it for awhile but when tapping the screen with two fingers, it constantly moved the screen away from the camp, and you cannot tap and earn money away from the camp screen.
Cool game. Some reviewers misunderstand the game
Economy game and earn by tapping equipment and fueling the equipment. Each item you buy makes more money and consumes more fuel. ADDITIONALY... each piece of equipment acquired makes MORE money by tapping on them. So you start out tapping camp for a lousy dollar per tap then can TAP equipment purchased for allot more money. Buy a pump and earn 5 dollars per tap and upgrade/purchase other equipment that make even more per tap. Thusly been playing for a few days and now have a wheel loader that earns over 40'000 dollars per tap. Wish i could reply to some of the frustrated reviewers. Oh well. I enjoy the game. Takes as much or as little time per play as you want.
Scam
This is the worst app I've ever seen. You start out with no money and no land or equipment. The guide tells you that your first purchase is land but you have to make 500 dollars to do it and to make the necessary money, you have to tap the campers on the land 500 times. After that you have to buy a water pump for 1000 dollars. Again, no money so you have to tap the camp 1000 times. Then you need a generator. Guess what? 6500 dollars. Back to tapping again. It is a very tedious task that makes absolutely no sense. The easiest way to get through is to buy diamonds through in-app purchase. There is no way to actually gold mine on this game. It was set up to simply scam people out of money. Don't waste your time. I know Gold Rush is a cool show, but this app is crap. I wish the makers of Gold Rush would develop an actual functioning gold mining game.
