Laundry list of annoyances with the updated app:

Took a number of emails with the support team to gain access and get my subscription and past rounds restored

I've played two rounds with this new app and it's been frustrating. Once I advance to the next hole I cannot figure out how to add/remove shots from the earlier hole if I made a mistake.

I like to load a course and then flip my phone to airplane mode and play with gps enabled. That works fine on an app like the GHIN app but trying that in golf metrics results in the app refusing to let me add shots.

A few of the holes I played on show up in the app as being all rough and not fairway which results in misleading stats or force me to look closely at each lie in the app and update.

On the positive side, having gps app with their target feature is nice but it doesn't offset the issues I've run into.

Tl;dr What I really want from golf metrics are the metrics and something that's simple to use for entry. The old app had it and and this one just overly complicates things.

The old app was a bit data entry intensive, but the output was phenomenal (even if a dated view). The new app is much less informative, from what I can tell. Then again - who knows? It took me weeks to get into the new app, because it wouldn’t recognize my login and password. Eventually resolved, the developers admitted it was a problem on their end. Moving on to the app itself. The prior version was awesome. New version blows. New version shows strokes gained - nothing that any other strokes gained app (ARCCCOS, Garmin, Shot Pattern, etc) doesn’t also do. But nothing else. The old version showed me directly how I compared to a scratch golfer - ie. If my approaches from 150 yds averaged 90 feet from the pin, and a scratch averages 36 ft, I know what the bar is for improvement. Just showing SG gives me NOTHING. I would pay to have the old app back, with just the additional Hcp references (85 shooter). This one blows.

Lost all my rounds from previous versions. Made me create an account, sign up for a new subscription and has now lost my subscription.

So I paid for the old version by month. And mid month, a new version of the app comes out. Cool, it could use an update. Now new version makes me pay again for the month. Bummer but whatever. Input yesterdays round, and today, I need a new subscription. I hope they fix the bugs, and soon before it auto renews
