Awesome wallet

Highly recommended. Obviously being a software wallet, it’s not the most secure wallet out there for large holdings. Software wallets are notoriously unsafe due to risks created by malware and viruses and make your precious crypto highly vulnerable if the proper steps aren’t taken to protect your device. However, I get great utility using this wallet for short term transfers/transactions for services like Changelly and shapeshift or when I’m planning on trading a bit on a volatile day. The best thing this wallet has going for it is the convenience of it whether it’s on your computer or on mobile. My primary wallet for storage is a ledger and admittedly it’s very annoying to have to bring it with you if you’re planning on potentially using it as well as having to plug it into your computer whenever you want to send assets. The wallet also has an exchange feature with reasonable fees in comparison to something like coinbase but with a larger selection of assets, which is extremely useful for a quick exchange without having to move it anywhere. Where this wallet lack in security, it makes up for in convenience 10 fold. All in all, I’d highly recommend this wallet for traders, but for hodlers I’d suggest going with something more secure and just using it as a transfer mechanism

I like the platform, but…

I have been using GoMining for just over a month. It is pretty good and I have virtually no problems. However they removed, shortly after I joined, the ability to receive rewards in GMT. I read all the comm’s I know why they did it. But frankly speaking it just isn’t fair to the community that supports the platform. The platform now forces you you to buy GMT. the problem is that getting GMT on exchanges and or just buying it incurs fee’s that out weigh the benefits of the 10% discount for lower TH accounts. I have 123 TH which makes about $150 a month. 10% of that is $15. In order for me, especially harder for US citizens, to buy GMT with my earnings I have to transfer my earnings multiple times, each incurred network fees. Then buy GMT, and to send the GMT to GoMining incurred more network fees plus withdrawal fees from the exchange. In total, it wipes my discount 10% discount out and possibly costs more.

So basically, they need to bring back getting payout in GMT.

With that said, ROI is long but worth the wait. It will take about 15-17 months to get your money back for what you invested. But after you pass that point it’s all earnings. So if you are patient and want something that will pay big return on investment then this could be for you.

If you are looking to make money quick, this probably isn’t the right choice for that.

Again, love the Platform, love the Team behind it. They have done a great Job.

Probably an ok app, but I should have never started using it

I will freely admit first off, I’m really new to the crypto market. That being said, I probably should have just passed up this app, but it seemed so simple at the time. It just looked so easy with the free trial. You click a button once a day, you passively make bitcoin.
Once the trial ended, I sat there for a while trying to figure out wth I’m supposed to do now with the app. I read through the information on the app, which assumes a base knowledge of crypto terminology that I just don’t have. After reading a few site reviews and some external materials, I figured sure, I’ll throw $50 at this, and created an NFT/miner.
A few weeks go by, keep pushing the button daily to watch it slowly inching toward that first penny of returned investment. A few more weeks and I feel bold, decide to create a couple more miners.
Soon, I’m sitting on a whopping $7 in bitcoin, which is to date around $6 for some reason. Dunno if it was a fee, or the market, or whatever. The main thing I’m now scratching my head about, is how to get it transferred when the time comes. I think I’ve set up a wallet, but this is just one of a litany of things that I wish there were, for a lack of a better term, more dumbed down instructions for.
