What's Goodie?
- Goodie is a group chat for every place in NYC. Our mission is to create more opportunities for human interaction by connecting people who are at the same place (apartment buildings, bars, neighborhoods, gyms, coffee shops, etc).
How does it work?
- Check in wherever you are right now to see who's around you and what they're talking about.
- Post text, photos, and GIFs to the group chat to talk with other people who are checked in.
- Check out people's profiles to see where they're from, what they do for work, where they went to school, and more...
- Send direct messages to other users to start a conversation and stay connected.
- Add your friends so you can see where they're checking in around the city.
What else?
- We believe that privacy matters. Unlike most location-based apps which constantly track your location (and kill your battery), we only use your location when you check in somewhere to verify that you're actually there. You also have full control over who can see where you check in.
