Ratings and Reviews
Something’s that should be different
Hi, I’m writing another review because there are some things that are unfair. For example, the game limits ads and you can’t play without internet even though it does limit ads and it is fine without internet, it’s a bug but if you watch an ad and finish it before it stops showing the ad, the game will give you the buck or whatever you did it with and then it will show the error message but with an x on the top right this time, it is not permanent thought. Another thing is that it is kind of a cash grab considering most things you have to use bucks on but for example, you don’t have any story’s left and because of the limit on ads, you need more bucks so you will probably pay for some because of the fact story’s and buck story’s don’t give you many bucks. Also you should change the bucks you get from Cronby’s last quest to 7. The buck amount is crazy to get, well, any buck thing heck even the fall trees cost bucks and that is unfair. Also the problem with coins is that to use bucks to get them, it’s a lot. The sounds for the scares as well are brutal and will scare children out of there mind if the dream of dieing, pls change it. And the last one I have is the fact that any item like bank or atm will have to use coins to skip instead of bucks as well. When you get the chance, please read this new review.
Developer Response ,
Hello, our Dev team is working on a update for the game, it will be released in the upcoming weeks. Regards, The Pixowl Team.
Enjoying this game so far...
Edited* Adding another star, I’m liking this game more and more. There’s room for improvement, but it’s a pretty new game with tons of potential. I’m hoping there will be expansions soon, it seems like I may be coming up on the highest level pretty quickly. The devs have done a great job, fun and keeps me playing multiple times a day.*
It’s a very cute game, pretty fun so far. I seem to have a lot of technical problems with it though, I get an error that says it “can’t connect to the internet” frequently. I know I’m connected, and don’t have this issue with any other games, so it has to be a problem with this app. I also feel a little annoyed with the sale bundles. There was a bundle for 5 bucks, which included a character that was sold separately for 40 goosebump dollars. I ended up buying that character and it automatically removed her from the bundle deal, but the price stayed the same. I feel like if a significant part of the bundle is removed, it should either be replaced with something else or the cost should be lowered. Minor things that won’t stop me from playing, but I probably won’t spend any actual money on it. On the plus side, you can pretty much get unlimited goosebump dollars from the drive in right now by watching ads, however I suspect the particular glitch will be corrected pretty soon, haha. Overall, decent game, I’ll stick with it for quite a while I think.

Really fun, needs planning mode
This game is great! It has all of the childhood nostalgia, good characters and quests, enough to do that you don’t get bored in 30 seconds, and just the right amount of IAP. You can purchase things to make the game progress more quickly if you don’t mind throwing devs a few bucks, but you don’t feel like you’re required to do so to progress the game along. There’s plenty to do without it and you can earn in-game currency at a reasonable speed.
The only thing I’d suggest to make this a top notch franchise game is a town planning mode. I’m currently at level 14, and I’ve got a pretty messy town. I want to group certain buildings together, but that’s hard to do without the planning mode that is common in type of game which allows you to store all of your buildings and place them where you want them. It does allow construction of streets and land, but again, it would be much easier to organize my town if I could store my buildings while I’m doing it.
A planning mode is the ONLY thing I could possibly suggest to improve this game! If you enjoy strategy games and spooky things, or if you’re a Goosebumps fan, I highly recommend it!
