Good just minor fixes needed

I am a hygiene temp and since the update they have allowed the option for offices to list how many patients per hour we will be seeing. Most of the offices I see put 0. It seems they do this to get around disclosing when they make us see multiple patients per hour, which makes a difference to many hygienists when it comes to accepting or denying a shift. I dont think they should allow offices to list 0 as patients per hour, it doesn't really make sense since we will never see 0 patients.

There is also no way to see all listed shifts without scrolling down through every single day in the calendar until your reach that shift. So it feels like the shifts are hard to see, they used to all be listed on one page with dates next to them instead of having to scroll through dates to find them. Other than that the app has a much better user experience since the previous version.

First timer temp

I’ve had a great experience with Tempmee thus far. This is my first time temping after 7 years and the process couldn't be easier. I don't have to wait on a response to an email or Facebook message. The app is easy to use. I love the in app calendar. When and where I work is one less thing I have to keep up with because of the calendar. A few challenges for me: I wish there was an option to put the hours you are available to work. For instance, if the office is closing at 5pm, I could counter-offer that to request to leave at 4pm, or something similar to that. It’s not a lot of time to accept job offers, or maybe I'm getting my notifications late? The office gets to choose if they want you to work there, so while you’re waiting on them to accept or decline you, you could potentially lose out on other opportunities. The “what office is this” surprise is challenging, but overall, I haven’t been led wrong. It’s been a fun experience. Give it a go for a while!

App developers leave so much room for improvement

TempMee as an agency has been pretty good and responsive. The application on the other hand can be a nuance. They just added a filtering system that at first I thought finally and then quickly realized it fixed nothing as the filter does not stick and needs to constantly be put in. My hopes were that they’d set up a filtering system that allowed you to put in your availability so that you’d only receive job notifications for those days and for the states you’re licensed in especially if it is not also the state you live in (ex: I live in NJ but am licensed in NY). The amount of notifications between the application and texts messages are absurd. There is no need to remind me of the same upcoming job 3-4 times. these notifications should be limited or I should be allowed to tailor the amount of times I want to be reminded of an upcoming shift. I suggest developers study apps like Stynt and other competitors to see what simple changes they can make that will make the app experience many times better.
