Description
Simple and always ready, this assistant will help you plot out your survey, pace out your study, classify, photo tag, take notes and log features for upload to GIS
Quick, accurate, yet fully featured, this is the survey tool that is always in your pocket. Create projects and record and classify features and routes as you pace out the landscape.
Points can be recorded in any of three ways: Single points at the press of the button, automatically at regular timed intervals, or as you take a photograph.
The project keeps track of all the recorded points and records the Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, and Heading plus the links to any photographs. The project can be saved direct to the iCloud drive or to the photo library. The data is also saved direct to the iCloud drive or sent via email using the universal CSV standard, for easy import into many GIS type systems or similar.
Projects are easily managed and edited from the project list and new projects are created by simply giving them a name and pressing 'Start'
Existing projects can be loaded and further points can be added.
The individual points that make up a project can easily be managed from a list, where they can also be deleted, re-loaded and appended. For more details please visit the support pages.
What’s New

Developer Response ,
Hi. Sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience using the App. Obviously this is not how GPSnaps should perform and we are keen to get the app to work for you. If you want to go to the support pages and contact me directly I'm sure we can get it working. For a quick try at a fix you could, perhaps close the app by double clicking the home button then swipe the app up to dismiss it fully, then restart the app. Start a new project by typing a project name and then pressing the start button. record a single point and return back to the Projects page. The project you just created should be in the saved projects list. you can re-open this project by selecting it from the list and pressing the start button. Hopefully this solves any problems you have been having, I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
