- Fixes a misaligned label in the settings window - In case no user-defined Map service was configured, the menu to select the current map could still show an item to select a user-defined map.

- For the currently selected route or tracks the App will now also show an altitude graph - It's now possible to configure a second additional third-party map service in the settings - When zooming-in into third-party maps beyond their maximum zoom level, the Map will now scale the last available map tiles to avoid an empty map area - In case the location services are enabled for the App in the system settings, it will now center the map around the current location (if available) when no other content is shown.

- The "Recent Documents" menu now displays the most recently opened files. - Fixes an issue with parsing poorly structured KML files. - On macOS 26, a route or track should now always appear centered on the map when opened. - Fixes an issue where, for some users (who have installed other apps for opening/editing GPX and KML files), macOS suddenly refused to open these files with "GPX Preview," or the preview did not work. macOS internally manages different file formats using a unique ID and uses this ID to determine which Apps can open which files. Each App must specify which file formats (IDs) it supports so that macOS can offer those files to the App. Unfortunately, when it comes to GPX/KML, many apps do not adhere to the guidelines of always using the official IDs (if they exist), but instead define their own. Unfortunately, this means that macOS might not use the official IDs for these files either, but instead the custom IDs defined by the Apps that first introduced this file format to macOS, or even claim to be the "owners" of the format. As a result, Apps that use only the official IDs are ignored by macOS, since it has permanently registered the incorrect IDs. With this update, "GPX Preview" now registers for many additional unofficial GPX/KML IDs in addition to the official ones, in order to work around the issue. Since these unofficial IDs are not officially documented, problems may still arise in some cases. In that case, please send me a quick message letting me know which other apps you use for GPX/KML. That way, I can also add their custom IDs for GPX/KML if necessary.

- Added support for KMZ files - Fixes an issue when using the "imperial" units (miles) where the Quicklook extension still used metric units (meters).

- Added information in the "help" section about a bug of the macOS which could prevent that the QuickLook extensions is used and how to workaround it until Apple fixes this issue. - Fixes a rare issue which could prevent that the GPX Preview App was suggested as App to handle KML files
