The app will give you easy access to recline, zero gravity and restore functions so you can find your ideal position in your Gravis ZG Chair. Also, easily set heat, air massage and adjustable lumbar capabilities from your device.

Memory Functions
Create up to nine custom memory settings. This allows you to set the perfect position for sleeping, reading or just relaxing after a long day. Find the perfect recline angle with your ideal features and save it so when you simply press a button, you will be moved into ultimate comfort. Choose from several icons so different people in one household can set their own personal settings. Lastly, included are pre-programmed positions for TV watching and napping that can be further customized.

Appallingly bad interface

The wired controller for this chair has fewer functions than the ones for cheaper chairs. But you’d best stick with the cheaper ones. First, nearly every time you use it, you need to select which chair you’re controlling. I suppose that that’s necessary if you have more than one, but it’s infuriating when you just have one (and I can’t imagine that anyone who has suffered through this with one chair would be foolish enough to buy another one). The interface is modal in maddening ways—it seems bound and determined to put the next bottom you’ll want to press on a different screen than the one you’re looking at. There’s only one pre-set position (“ZG”), and if you create more than one of your own, you’ll find it relegated to a place you have to scroll to. And you’ll need at least one—there’s no button for putting the chair back in its upright position (though, oddly, you can do this by holding down the power button). The chair itself can be relaxing to sit in, but some of the tension you’ll need to let go of will come from having to use the awful app.

Remember my chair

We have two chairs that sit side by side. I should be able to permanently pair my chair with my iPhone. But no, every time I go to use the app I have to tell it again which chair I want to control. Come on, there is no excuse for that with today’s technology!!! If it weren’t for that it would be a five star app and not a two star. But that is too annoying!!

Version Hx Tells It All

This app hasn’t been updated in two years. Ridiculous, since if you have more than a single chair you are required to memorize a 7 digit number to know which one is yours. Comfortable chair but remote operation only for the owner who knows exactly which one is his. Would be easy to allow renaming feature to more easily identify. Would not buy another.

Follow-up to the above. It seems that there is simply no effort to up the game on this chain and the app. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR! Overpriced and oversold. Manufacturer clearly doesn’t care about the sale…maybe discontinued. I would rate -3 stars for the app, 4 stars four chair comfort, 1 star for operational design (total mismatch on embedded button design…hold the rear button to go forward and the front button to go backward. Handheld does not light up in the dark, on/off button is not intuitive. Designer obviously never used the controls of the chair. However, the motor works well.
