Great Notion 17+

This is a great app. I love ordering beers and also checking out what is new. I’m confused as to how to play a game to earn a badge for that. Also I’ve been to numerous pubs and didn’t know about the check in to location or that I can get a discount on every first pour since I am a Whistlepunk.

This app looks like it would be a lot of fun, if all of the fun stuff actually worked. Every time I try to do something on this app I get a “hold your horses cowboy, that hasn’t dropped yet”, or something like that.
And (for now perhaps), it is really a locals only app. I live 2400 miles away, so unless I’m visiting Portland, or someplace in Oregon that sells their canned beer, I can’t really unlock characters or climb the ranks.
The artwork is very cool. And the Character bios are fun to look at. Wish I could do more with this app.

This app is an extravagant insult to customers. I just wanted to buy some beer. But they don’t publish so much as a listing on their website, and instead bury their business under this ridiculous, gamified software that has you collecting “drops” to “level up your character” and “unlock badges”. I feel like a circus animal performing for a treat.

Update: The app is now literally unusable. “In order to proceed to the Great Notion app you must allow access to your device’s GPS”
