Description

We are inspired by the no BS attitude of iconic retro sneakers.

We design them to be trend-resistant, and super easy to dress up or down. They are going to play nice with anything you already own, and they’re going to take you where you need to go. But that’s only one half of the story. You might also be interested to know that we have been making our products fairly and responsibly since the jump.

What does this mean? It means that all of our shoes are made by top-rated factories that meet the highest standards of labor and environmental practices.

We know that it’s impossible to make physical goods and be 100% sustainable, but we are always taking meaningful steps towards decreasing our carbon footprint.

Quality shoes. Questionable value. Inconsistent service.

Shoes are stylish, comfortable and high quality. But they are very expensive.

I’ve bought +/- 10 pairs in different styles over the years and spent more money than I’d like to admit. I just purchased the slippers but returned them because the 15% off promo for first app purchase wasn’t applied. Not sure why. I have a screenshot of the promotion.

I emailed to ask if they would apply to 15% off to the slippers I bought. A pair for me and a pair for my wife. But they would not honor the promotion (that they emailed to me). I wasn’t even looking for slippers tbh. The slippers found me.

Anyway. Had to return them cause they wouldn’t apply the 15% promo.

”We would like to inform you that the reason why the code is not applying is because the item you are purchasing is excluded from our current promotion.”

The customer service is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good.

To be fair they did refund the cost of the other pair of slippers that Fedex either lost, didn’t deliver or were stolen from my front step.

I do like the shoes and they’ve held up over the years. But I’m not sure I want to keep giving my hard earned money to a company that doesn’t seem to value return clients or wants to haggle over 15% promos.

Returns??

I have had to return 5 pair of shoes. I began my first ordering the first part of February. Customer Service didn’t respond, at first. I believe I was able to get to them through another site. He was helpful, but took an hour to take down the information. He arranged for the shoes to be picked up the following day. Finally, after weeks of not being able to get to Customer Service, he was very accommodating. All five pair were sent at the same time/day. The problem????? I have only been credited for one (1) pair. Greats owes me a “Great” deal of money. Three months is an unreasonable amount of time. They haven’t even acknowledged receipt of the returned shoes. No wonder they don’t do Exchanges. Once they get your money, good luck getting it back! I, still, have 10 pair. Drastic change in foot size has led to me having to order larger sizes. Also, they are extremely inconsistent with their sizing, which was the reason for, all but one having to be returned. Because of their lack of Customer Service, shoes, I had wanted were no longer available. They owe me hundreds of dollars, in returns, and I can’t get them to do their job. Are you people, really, going to have to deal with my attorney, because I’m through with you! I don’t have $600+/- to throw away on “bandits”. If you have money to throw away, try to get a pair of Greats that fit. If you don’t have money to throw away, find another source of sustainable shoes.

Return process is not pleasant

I have 12 pairs of greats . I love the shoes but customer service is awful. Especially if you need to return a pair. Luckily this has only happened twice .. 1 time at the beginning and most recently this return has been a nightmare. Literally received notice it was received and refund would be sent back to my card in 3 days and still after 8 days nothing and crickets from customer service .
