Pax Domini Vobiscum ,

Great App For Greek Freaks

This app offers excellent information for anyone interested in ancient Greek Myth; also areas to hunt for more detailed information on related subjects. It also needs more…

I do wish this app and others offered links to the many surviving free & professionally produced Greek Plays, Dialogues and Speeches, all created before (and during) what was the final collapse of the ultimate, uniquely civilized Athenian Democracy — never to be seen again, until the American Revolution almost two thousand years later.

This app and other academic resources like it can help us to not repeat the very same mistakes of the Athenian Democracy, which became its downfall. We need to understand the society that was so glorious and unique; we need to understand how it failed too.

I think providing the tools we need to understand Ancient Greece are absolutely vital. Moreover, this app very much helps do just that.

No search function

This app does not have a search function. Would seem pretty basic to have included one. Wish I hadn’t spent the $4.99.
