Greenspot was created with the mission of streamlining electric vehicle charging station accessibility. We’ve worked with many cities to install charging stations at easily accessible locations.
Geared towards EV drivers, our app uses your location to show all of the charging stations near you, ensuring that your car will never run out of power. We’ll provide info on a station’s location, ID, availability, charging levels provided, and accessibility. Once you decide on a station, you can pay through the app.
With the Greenspot app, you’ll have access to a variety of perks:
- Maps - Find available charging stations near you
- Notifications - Receive live updates about the status of your EV charging
- Payments - Make secure purchases via the app
- Location Tracking - You can favorite and save locations that you use a lot.
- Saved history - Keep track of past charging station sessions.

Quality chargers but app could use details
Hello, I believe users would benefit from seeing the current rate of charge in the app. The chargers near me have a fee when the car is plugged in and fully charged. It would be very helpful to be able to watch as the rate of charge decreased over time, similar to ChargePoint, so that the user can estimate when they should get back to their car. I drive a 2012 Nissan Leaf and one of the issues I have is I can’t remotely see my battery percentage so I rely on the information in charging apps like yours.

Unreliable chargers
The app is straightforward but for months I have been encountering a problem charging. It begins to charge and then goes inexplicably goes idle after a very short time. I have had to walk a mile back from home to restart the charge and then back and forth again. Plus it charges me a small amount to not charge my car.
