The official Greenworks app provides useful tools for connecting and communicating with Greenworks and Greenworks Pro Optimow robotic lawn mowers, ride-on mowers, batteries, and more. The app is packed with useful tools and functions. Overall, you can register products, get digital copies of your owners manuals and much more.

For robotic mowers, the Greenworks app lets you:
• View the installation guide
• Find useful tips for installation
• View and edit mower settings like scheduling, starting points, and security functions
• View mower status, like mowing, charging, and/or error messages
• Communicate commands with the mower like pause, park, and resume
• Get notified of mower errors and security messages (on select models)
• Track mower position (on select models)

For residential ride-on mowers mowers, the Greenworks app lets you:
• View battery charge status for each individual battery
• View mowing data, like duration and area covered.
• View mower status and view how components are performing at any given time
• Track mower position

For Bluetooth batteries, the Greenworks app lets you:
• View the battery status
• Update the battery software
• Secure the battery using the lock and unlock function
• See the last known position of the battery

Tip if you get can’t connect error

I kept getting an error about the app not being able to connect to the server. Here’s what it was for me (hopefully helps someone else too).

I use a password manager and it accepted the password it provided. Once I tried to log in, I got the error. If this happens to you, try hitting the “forgot password” link. After I did, I realized their password requirements were no special characters and less than 16 characters. After resetting, got it fixed.

Feature requests:
- Allow to change the language of the app. This is the only app on my phone that I’ve noticed. Some people speak two languages or are trying to learn. They shouldn’t have to change their whole phones settings for their spouse or kids to use the app
- Allow multiple sign ons. Because of problem above, I signed into my iPad too and it logs out the other. Why?
- Allow zones. I have to keep it to daytime only for fear of theft. I’d do it all day if I could keep the yard in zones.
- Open up API to use with smart devices.

This app is pure garbage and Greenworks should be embarrassed

I don’t know who coded this piece of junk but they should be terminated only after being forced to do a year of trying to support it. I have had so many attempts and trying to pair the app, deleting it, re-adding it, changing my password so there are no special characters and I hate it now. I have half a mind to make Costco take this mower back

Zero Turn

This app is worked almost flawlessly for me after I synced it properly make sure you are sitting on the seat and it’s been outside with a clear view of the sky for at least two minutes in order to get the GPS working properly but after I got it synced very easy to use and their tech-support was very helpful at least on the commercial side
