Description

PixelGriddle is the fast and handy pixel grid generator - perfect for your graphics applications and projects. Step aside, overlay grids - now you can bend, warp and integrate grids directly into your work! And say goodbye to the pain of measuring the effects of filters, such as Photoshop®'s Liquify, where overlay grids aren't even available.

Create the grid you need
• Customize your grid size and origin
• Set up major and minor grid layers with discrete line color, opacity, and style settings
• Label your grid lines with numbers or letters
• Include a background color or image
• Drag & drop, copy & paste, or save your grid to a file

Stop wasting time making project-specific grids from scratch. Let PixelGriddle handle your grids while you get back to creating!

Photoshop users: Copying and pasting images with transparency may result in an opaque background. You'll get better results if you save your grid to a file and open it directly in Photoshop.

What’s New

Needs a preference setting for background color

This tool does just what it says, except the background while editing in always white. This makes it difficult to use when creating grids with white or light colored grid lines. Workaround is easy enough (build your grid with a dark color) but needlessly clunky for a paid app.

Have you seen we added a background color feature in the latest update, version 1.1? We hope you enjoy it!

ALL FEATURES HAVE DISAPPEARED!

I downloead the app the other day and set up a graph and printed a test page. All was well. Now I open the app on my MAC and the grapgh I set up displays but there is no option to print! There are no other features or function in the app either. File only has Save or Close options, Edit options are greyed out. No other graph styles are available to . I have reached out to support and will wait for thier reply. But so Far VERY DISSAPPOINTED. Screwed up my plans to get some drawings done to day.

Keith From Splasm promtly responded to my concern and he is correct I had saved the file and printed from that PDF. I dont how I had figured that out in my computing illiterate mind but it worked. So I'll ammend my review to say the app does what it says and serves my needs exactly. THANKS Keith

Developer Response ,

Hi there! PixelGriddle doesn’t have a print feature, so is it possible the other day you used Save As… to save your grid to a file, then opened the file in Preview where you could print it? You might also have used Copy, switched to Preview, used File > New From Clipboard, then printed from there. Both should get you going again. We’ll have to look into teaching PixelGriddle how to print to save you a step or two. Please get in touch at support@splasm.com if you need any additional details and we’ll be happy to help!

Does exactly what it advertises

Great app for making a basic grid with almost no effort. I would love to see more options (i.e. the ability to distinguish verticle and horizontal lines, tertiary lines), and hope the developer adds these over time. For a simple grid, it works great.
