Refreshed App Store Listing

Photo verification is here. Spotted a price that doesn't match the shelf? Now you can back it up. Report the price, tap the camera, and photograph the tag — GroceryChop reads it and confirms your report against what's actually printed. It handles real shelf tags, not clean text. Abbreviated product names, unit pricing, sale markers, barcodes — the messy stuff a real tag actually has. We use the photo to check the price and then let it go. Most are deleted the moment the check is done. Why it matters A confirmed price carries more weight than a claimed one. When you verify with a photo, other shoppers can see the price was checked against the tag — and the more verified prices there are, the more the whole list is worth trusting. Also in this release • The photo option is now a clear button instead of a line of text that was easy to miss • Undo stays put — no countdown racing you to change your mind • Price reporting is smoother across the compare list and product pages Photos stay optional. A single tap still reports a price, same as before.

This update is all about accuracy and stability — and most of it came straight from your reviews. Fixed - Crash on the Stores tab when scrolling or searching - Freeze when typing in the search bar - Stores from other cities appearing in your local results - Outdated prices showing in the Deals tab Improved - Deals now refresh continuously, so prices you see are current - Nearby stores are properly scoped to your ZIP code - Faster, smoother typing across all search screens Thank you to everyone who left feedback. The reports about wrong stores and stale prices pointed us straight at the bugs behind them. Keep it coming — we read every review.

Price history, leveled up - Interactive price charts: touch any point to see the exact price on that day, plus 90-day lows, highs, and averages - Spot real deals at a glance: every product shows how today's price compares to its recent average Faster everywhere - The Deals tab now loads in a fraction of the time - Smoother price comparisons across the app Also in this update - Live counter showing price comparisons running across GroceryChop - Fixed a chart error for products with unchanged prices - Fixed an issue where rating the app from the feedback prompt could silently fail Every price in GroceryChop is scraped live from real stores, never estimated.
