Looking good but still has a ways to go
Easy investing thru the app, but it only allows bulk investing on a cluster of offerings. You can't pick the properties to invest nor customize the distribution of the investment amongst the different offerings. It does not allow to invest in GF notes either.
It still has a ways to go to offer the same functionality and options of the web site, but it's a good start. I hope it keeps adding things and improving
Understand the risks
I’m surprised how this company gets away with downplaying the risks so much. Sure, it's “less” risky than other real estate investments, but a loan can end up in foreclosure and you can lose principal. The company has never been through a declining housing market, so all we know is that they've show excellent results in the hottest period of housing in history.
I'm a customer of several years and have had 2 bad loans out of a few dozen. I'm not saying to avoid investing, but make sure you understand that while it's relatively safe, it's possible to lose money.
Hard to Believe
I can’t believe how easy it is to invest on this app. But here I am, a year later. I’m thankful for the simplicity and content with the numbers. Keep it up Groundfloor. Who know’s, maybe I’ll utilize your other services in the future.
