Sketchy

I paid for the premium
But I got super sketched out for the fact that there’s only one main page and then everything else you click just once she just scan and there’s no account information or anything that you can see on the app to cancel your subscription
Really doesn’t work as well as I thought it would

We’re sorry for any confusion with the premium version. Our app is designed for simplicity, but we understand the concern. You can manage your subscription through your app store account. Better info resource than it is a diagnostic scanner

I downloaded the app and continued as a guest user. I wanted to try it out before giving my info. I Uploaded multiple pictures of plants that have clear problems for the app to scan and diagnose. Every result came back as “Sorry, GrowDoc couldn’t recognize your disease.” The Gallery section of the app isn’t a bad resource for you to do you’re own diagnosis. There are plenty of reference photos and information about each disease and nutrient deficiency/excess. Overall I’d say it fails as a scanning diagnostic, but as an information resource in an app instead of doing a google search it’s acceptable.

We are happy that you found the GrowDoc app to be a good resource of information. We have since updated the app to have a higher accuracy when scanning and we are soon to be releasing an update that will further increase scanning accuracy, and more. Hope you come back and try out the app again!

This app is never right on the diagnosis. It may get one occasionally, but it’s maybe 15 % of the time. It can’t even diagnose a beautiful bud fully healthy and glistening with trichromes. The app thinks it has powdery mildew or mealy bugs instead of crystals. Needs work, but is an excellent idea for a future app that actually works.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the app. I wanted to clarify that GrowDoc is currently designed for diagnosing issues on leaves and plants. We do not yet have a dataset for scanning healthy buds, which might be why it misidentified the trichomes on your plant.

We are continuously working to improve our app, and your input is invaluable in helping us enhance its accuracy and functionality. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we develop GrowDoc to be a more comprehensive tool for growers.
