Guitar Fretboard app is designed to help you learn scales, memorize fretboard and train your ear. Allows to customize every aspect of displaying a scale or chord notes/intervals on a guitar fretboard. Also shows each scale degree chords and modes with ability to highlight a chord on a scale.
Important: doesn't show how to play chords, shows only intervals of a chord and it is up to you to choose fingerings. Great for learning chords in details. Not great as a simple reference. Application is catered more to learning scales than chords unless you want to see all the chord notes on a fretboard. Plays notes when they are tapped on fretboard.

- 45+ scales (Major scale modes, Harmonic minor scale modes, Melodic minor scale modes, Major/Minor pentatonic, Exotic scales, Bebop scales) and 35+ chords
- Ability to add custom scales and chords

Everything I’ve ever wanted in a guitar app

Thank you for building this. I had built a very basic version of this ages ago using HTML mapping and always wanted to be able to turn it into a proper app. The information here is fantastic and is literally showing you how to speak guitar like a language. I wish every guitarist who wants to be fluent on their instrument to take time to understand the patterns and why the fretboard is set up as it is. I use this every single day and being able to take time to study the guitar without even needing to pick one up is something I’ll be grateful for as long as this exists. I get better and more confident as a guitarist every single day now.

Thank you for your feedback, I too started building it because I wanted to see visually how modes relate to each other and in general be able to quickly map things up when I learn something
