Updated minimum iOS version to 18.3. Fixed timing problem that required you to play behind the beat on longer runs. Added up & down arrows to Tempo that let you nudge tempo +- 1. Custom Screen layout is improved. Piano keys are shiny black and white, like a real piano! Play! button added to Sound Check and Custom screens to shortcut nav menu. Updates to Tuner make it easier to use. New Input level meter on Sound Check page and Play page. Play screen - fingerboard now flashes green (if enabled) when it's your turn to play. Optional count-in setting can be used to help stay in tempo. New Basic Stats (shown on side menu) shows wins, losses, total and win percentage. New "Infinite Lives" option in Settings allows one to stay in a melody until you win. Toggles between Infinite and 3 lives. No Stats when using Infinite. New Settings screen to enable/disable various items - Flash, Count-in, Continue, Lives. Limited Bluetooth Support! You can use bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to the notes being played to you, but your iPhone/iPad mic will still be listening to your instrument. iRig HD is no longer supported as of iOS 18. I've tested successfully with iRig HD-X, which requires you to run Amplitube or other amp sim before launching GuitarParrot. A USB interface is not required, but is useful in a noisy environment. You can even sing to it if you don't have an instrument.

GuitarParrot continues to be the coolest random melodic ear training and memory development app ever!! HUGE improvements to the User Interface! You can now enjoy playing GuitarParrot in Portrait or Landscape views. Tested from iPhone 5s up to iPad Pro 11. No more flat buttons! Gradients everywhere make the screens much more pleasant. Sound Check page has a new Tuner design and the knobs have been rearranged. Cool sliding animations when changing from Landscape to Portrait and back! It's still visually better in Landscape, but now you have choices!

0.4.2 - Minor updates to performance. Internal adjustments to improve false note detections. On some devices with loud volume settings, the mic could hear the last note played by Parrot and judge before the user responds. Event sounds have improved - the success Bell, the missed note Beep-beep-beep, and the no sound detected Sonar Ping. Small memory leak caused by loading sounds fixed.

The Custom Scale is now functional! By selecting Custom on the Sound Check page, you can access the new Custom screen in the menu bar. You can build any 1-octave scale here by touching the 13 keys to enable or disable each note. The 'notes' button allows you to hear the scale. When you are ready for a workout, navigate to the Play screen and the Custom scale is presented on the neck, ready to play! This will enable you to do intervallic drills, triad drills, or any other note arrangements you can come up with. 0.4.1 improves screen layouts for iPhone5S and iPhoneXR and updated Help screen.

0.3.5 improves on the mic performance and also uses midi sounds for note generation. Midi improves the timing of notes played and keeps the timing more steady. Adjustments to Help screens. Gate range has been reduced to a more useful range. Acoustic players and anyone using the mic should notice a considerable improvement.

Nothing new, just rolled the version numbers for consistency.

Improvements to the listener timing. Go! mode is working better. Replaced "try again" sound with something less annoying ;-P. Added Stop button to play screen to halt "Go!" mode gracefully. The word "Mode" on the Sound Check screen, and Help, has been replaced with "Scale."

Small bug fix - in Go! mode, buttons were being enabled which could allow multiple restarts.
