Excellent Game!

I've completed at least normal difficulty all the way through the four acts solo at this point. In regards to the recent Fourth Act Final Stage Boss, I haven't had that much fun with a boss fight in a long time. The experience just simply had too many qualities constantly supporting the much-needed effort. From great controller support to fantastic gameplay incentive, this game fused practice-worthy approach with a very respectable end-goal. Cooperative play is outstanding and there IS a community that plays. It doesn't take me long to find a full team, and often times it's a mix of new players and experienced players. There are difficulty levels to select from for each session(total 3, counting normal), so the passive perks upgrade system feels exactly matching to the challenging gameplay's demand. There is a wide array of settings options to give the player a fullest control over performability. Lastly, the setting, theme, style, character, and story are all really new feeling. It just feels too unmistakeably valuable of a game to not play, when I'm still dizzy from just waking up to my iPhone becoming a hand-held gaming console over the last couple of years. Overall, undeniably solid Theme, exhausive Settings coverage, considerable genre formula, healthy community, and a superb boss fight to stand as remindrance of why gaming matters. Gunfire Reborn is a shooting star in the cosmic horizon, 10/10.

The best mobile release for an all platform game that I’ve played

It runs immaculately on my iPhone 12 ProMax, fantastic balance of an addictive gameplay loop with deep synergies and play styles and tons of new things to unlock. It could use more variety in its level design, it’s not very unpredictable for a roguelite but that’s just an afterthought that you’ll never think about when you’re in a fight focusing on maximizing your damage efficiency without taking excess damage. In my 10ish hours so far I’ve been glued to it and if they keep updating and releasing content it could easily go down as one of the greatest roguelites ever. Side not it looks most similar to Risk of Rain 2 at first glance but it really feels like if someone streamlined the Borderlands 2 combat system and enriched it with Hades’s meta progression and weapon synergies. Awesome game.

Fantastic Game! Confusing Controller Set-Up

Update: This game is so much fun! Plays like Doom meets Hades/Dead Cells. Great for short breaks, as the game saves after each area-level (just make sure you get to the leading screen, then it’s safe to exit). The controller set-up could definitely be a bit easier, and it would be nice to turn off more of the on-screen controls.

Original review: Took a while, but I was able to figure out how to get the set-up going for Backbone. You need to select controller (either xbox or PS) and then configure mapping. It was kind of complicated to figure out. The game looks great though and I’m excited to dive in.
