GW PAL, or Personal Alarm Locator, is a mobile safety application developed for the George Washington University community. The application allows anyone on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses to notify the George Washington Police Department (GWPD) of an emergency through their smartphone. When on campus and sending an alert, your GPS location and phone number are sent directly to GWPD. Users will also be able to send in crime tips, along with photos and videos if they choose. If off campus, GW PAL will prompt the user to dial 911 for emergency assistance.
-Easily call GW Dispatcher while in Live Tracking mode

Not all that useful
This app should be able to alert users to campus advisory alerts and request 4ride.
A must-have app for the GW community.
The app has an Arm button that, when pressed, calls UPD and sends then to your location. It also keeps tabs on recent notifications from GW ALERT, stores your emergency info, and keeps a speed dial list of local taxi companies and a button for your iPhone flashlight. A well-thought out security app and a must-have for any Colonial.
