eConnect - what's new? Dashboard with a new look: The dashboard appears in a modern tile design with a clear navigation through all relevant functions and data. At a glance, the user gets an overview of the status of his e-bike. Thus, parameters like total distance, total ride time and the last completed trip and - for Yamaha drive systems - even the battery charge status can be checked within a few seconds. Also the current and the last position of the e-bike and status of the e-bike ( open or locked). Improved route recording: Now all users can start and stop the route recording actively & manually. There is direct feedback on the signal strength of mobile and GPS signal of the on-board-unit. After finishing the trip the route is stored in the cloud and can also be exported. With the update, users can now decide for themselves which routes should be recorded. The route display has been extended: The route together with all recorded ride data such as ridden kilometers, ride time, speed, modes, roughness and flow can be retrieved later. For example, rides can be analyzed in detail for training purposes. Improvement of messages, adaptation of app: "FLYON assist modes" and bug fixes. Important Error fix for Certain Accounts (Login did not work)

The eConnect retrofitting kit can be registered now. Therefore, it is necessary to enter the Haibike frame number after the login. The frame number is also displayed in the settings of the respective bike. The date of prolongation or next activation is also displayed in the settings of the respective eBike. Privacy policy and exclusion of liability will be queried separately during next registration or changes and need to be confirmed again.

• The following languages are also available now: Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Polish, Czech. • Improvement of the crash algorithm.  The crash recognition now works also under extreme soil conditions, like Downhill or Bikepark (under reduction of the false crash alarms). • eConnect key: adjustment of the app in the portal.  IMPORTANT: The Firmware update to version 2.25 is available from 22nd June, 2017. This Firmware update for the eConnect system will be installed automatically the next time you ride your eBike. With good network coverage, the update should be finished within approximately 10-15 mins. The only thing you have to do is riding your bike.   The current version can be examined via the app under ‘Settings‘ -> ‘My eBikes‘. Your eConnect key is fully operating when the app updates and Firmware version 2.25 is displayed.       Enjoy the new functions.
