Instead of a blank screen, the app will display over 175 poems from 37 Japanese and Western haiku poets to get the creative juices flowing.

Start writing as soon as you install the app. No email address, no facebook login, no account creation needed.

Once you're ready to share your poem's perfection, just tap the button and copy instantly to your clipboard. Paste the poem in your messaging or social media app of choice. No hassle.

Poem writing should be simple and distraction-free. That's why Haiku doesn't have any bells or whistles. It works wherever you are, whatever wifi or cellular connection you are on.

I love writing haikus with this app but …

This is an elegant app. Thank you. But I am experiencing a couple issues.

1. The clipboard … it’s easy enough to “save” to the clipboard by tapping the icon at the top. But please tell me where is the clipboard when I want to review what I have written? How do I access what I’ve written?

2. How do I access the 175 haikus that are in the app for inspiration? The only other icon is the delete trashcan. Where do I tap to see the other poems that your description says are there?

I love using this app, but would like to know how to access my work and how to find the Haikus embedded within.

Thank you!

17 syllables in check

I do love this haiku app because it helps me with syllable counting. I still have not figured out where the clipboard is. I keep saving things to it, but I’m not sure how to access it. That’s my only problem.

Simple, but helpful

Fingers carefully
track seventeen syllables —
not anymore, thanks

The simplicity of this app makes it shine. A distraction-free environment helps my creative thoughts flow. Once completed, a simple copy & paste adds it to my haiku notebook on my iPhone.
