Music and coaching issues
Overall I love this app. It has helped me finish my first half and well on my way to second. The only drawbacks are a minor one and a semi major one. The minor one is the Verbal Coaching can be woefully misfiled or inappropriate. For example getting coaching that clearly belongs at the end of a run at the beginning or running coaching during warm-up or cool down. The semi major issue has nothing to do with training but rather with how the app itself works. If you add a song from your library and remove it and it plays during workout the music just stops instead of skipping the missing song. Along these lines is that if you remove a song or restore phone from backup and then reload your music, the app cannot find the song. Overall building and using playlists is the weakest part of the app. Generally this is a fantastic training app.

I’m really enjoying this app while training for my first half marathon. 2 things need fixing though. The coaching voice needs to have its own volume control. I can hardly hear him while my music is going. I can turn it up but I don’t want my music that loud. Also some of my songs don’t play and I don’t know why and it doesn’t automatically go to the next song.
I love you can up the BPM on songs, that’s very cool and very handy. I also like how you can adjust the run/walk ratio.
If those 2 fixes were done I would easily give this a 5 star rating.
Lots of glitches
I love the training program of this app and the app would be amazing if it worked consistently. However, the app regularly glitches and doesn’t work well. For example, when I have my screen turned off it is supposed to notify me with vibrations about when to walk and when to run. That only happens approximately on a third of my work outs. Very regularly the app will freeze in the middle of my workout and I won’t realize it until I realize i hadn’t been notified for a while. The gps does work. I will run during my 30 minutes workouts and the app will say I only went .015 miles (my iPhone gps will log a couple of miles). This was expensive for an app and I really feel that these bugs need to be fixed.
