HandicapApp

People, parking and toilets

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad

It's now also about people. The purpose of adding people to the map is to create security and to be able to be there for each other and to show that you are not alone out there. With this one-time purchase of People you get access to become part of the map yourself and to be able to see other people nearby and their profile overview. Save and find handicap-friendly parking lots, toilets and places with handicap-friendly access. Scan your handicap card and companion card and use them as ID cards, handy for less visible disabilities and then you always have the cards with you. All cards and other documents are saved in your private iCloud and are not shared with anyone. HandicapApp now also includes a dedicated layout exclusively for VoiceOver users and it is now exactly the same functions for VoiceOver users as for graphical users. Here no difference is made and the experience is the same. You can also add your own places that are not shared with other users but are easy to find back to with the show way function. The background inside HandicapApp is a map, with a + button. With the plus button you can add handicap-friendly parking lots, toilets and places with handicap-friendly access. These are for the benefit and enjoyment of all users of HandicapApp. So all created places on the map are shared by all users and these places can then be recommended by the different users, so that they will appear as trustworthy or not. So all HandicapApp users help each other create new places on the map and you can of course also find your way to them. HandicapApp is for everyone, everyone is welcome, you don't have to be disabled to be part of this app. In fact, it's super cool if you want to join in, help add handicap-friendly parking lots, toilets and places with handicap-friendly access. Because that's what's needed. HandicapApp is more than parking spaces and toilets, it can also be used to store documents with reminders and location, so you can be reminded of future appointments on the individual documents and with an address, so you also have something to drive to when you have to leave the door. All documents are stored in your own iCloud and are not shared with anyone. Regarding location, your location is not shared and is used exclusively to be able to look up addresses and save these together with your reminders. How are you feeling? It's about a mixture of physical and mental pain, it's between you and the app, but you have the option to share with others, it's up to you whether you want to and with whom. Data is stored in your private iCloud and is not visible to others unless you choose to share with someone. Sharing these emotional records has a price. Regarding privacy, you are not followed through this app and your data is not shared. We respect your privacy. It's free to use this app. Enjoy.

This update is primarily for blind users. Blind users now also have access to people. People nearby. The purpose of adding people to the map is to create security and to be able to be there for each other and to show that you are not alone out there. With this one-time purchase of People, you get access to become part of the map yourself and to be able to see other people nearby and their profile overview. The profile overview consists of a profile picture, a screen name, a text that shows how you are feeling, a short description, your gender, whether you are blind and whether you are a companion. From the profile overview, you can then ask for help, offer your help and if necessary block this person. When you are active on the map, you also show how you are feeling and you do this by choosing one of 5 options: I feel really bad, I feel bad, I am ok, I feel good and I feel really good. You then signal this to other people nearby via the profile overview. You can always choose between being turned off, passive or visible on the map, turned off gives itself, then the map is without people as we know it from now on, passive means that you can see and help others but they cannot see you and last but not least, visible means that you can see and be seen by other people nearby. Your personal contact information is always protected from everyone other than those you offer to help or accept help from and you can always block other people you would like to keep your distance from. If you choose to offer help or accept help, your location and phone number are shared with the other party. There is NO free chat between people. And personal information is not shared without full consent. Language differences do not mean the world as messages back and forth are localized. So it is only when you call each other that the language can become a challenge, but otherwise you can help each other across nationalities. Be kind and have fun
