Use your spell-power to uncover treasure chest keys. Rely on your deductive skills to unlock troves for the tools you need to search Pirate Island for clues to the final puzzle.
Happi & The Pirates is a fast paced and visually stunning learning game aimed at teachers and families with children in elementary school. It takes cues from acclaimed hit games such as Happi Spells and Happi 123 but raises the bar on both these games as well as the whole children’s educational game genre.
In order to solve the final puzzle and open the pirates’ treasure you and your child/students must prove your worth in a wide variety of disciplines such as:
• Logical Thinking
• Deductive Reasoning
• Puzzle Solving
• Word Building
Happi & The Pirates is a great learning activity for both home and school. Timed activities in the game can be disabled for a more school appropriate learning environment. The app also lend itself to interesting student/teacher discussions with its creative twists on spelling, problem solving and word construction.

Great problem solving, spelling, math
Great theme to catch the eye of any child! Especially those "sometime hard to motivate" boys. Great graphics! If one doesn't solve a word puzzle in the first try, they can return to it with the same words but a different letter clue is given. Highly motivating, causing player to persevere to get to the treasure! Contains easily understandable, built in demo so players understand the object of the game with little to no adult explanation. Provides hints which are vague just enough to get player using higher level thinking instead of just "telling" them the answer in the hint. Multilingual in 8 different languages. Great to practice a second language. Game settings to set difficulty level and to reset. One thing lacking in this game is tracking individual progress. If another player wishes to play, you must reset the game outside of the app or allow them to continue where the first player left off. Then the one player loses all of the levels they had already accomplished when they wish to play again. Also, it would be beneficial if one could customize words.
This app has a lot of mini puzzles of different types and difficulty level. My daughter especially like the crossword part where you have to figure out where the words are hidden or you'll set off bombs. She really has to think about the spelling of the words as guessing gets you nowhere.
There are also math, logic and matching games. Overall versatile enough to keep a 7 year-olds interest. Recommended!
Challening and fun
I really like this game. It has a nice twist on the crossword theme with you having to find the hidden letters. The other puzzles are also fun but maybe not as challening as the hidden crossword puzzle. Still highly recommended for 7-8 year olds.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
