Video Plants Growing:
Each time you water your plants, you can take a photo. In doing so, you’re actually assembling epic time-lapse video of your plant growth over time. It’s a fun video to watch as your green baby becomes a thriving green plant.
More Than An Alarm Clock:
Happy Plant is more than an alarm clock. It’s a good habit builder. We believe that seeing progress over time creates positive associations in your brain that help you remember better. Are we clever scientists? Not at all! But we’re finally watering our plants and our spouses aren’t yelling at us for being dumb. What more proof do we need?
Plant Care Turned Into Fun Experiences:
Having a fun water schedule not only helps to keep your plant hydrated, but it will help to prevent overwatering as well. With all our daily responsibilities, it’s easy to forget if you did something or not.
Tracking your plant watering will help guide you into becoming a good gardener. Each day when it’s time to water a plant, you’ll receive a notification. When you water your plant, you add to your water streak. Challenge yourself to see how long you can keep your water streak going.
When your plant is in the green zone, your baby is hydrated and happy.
When your plant is in the red zone, your baby is thirsty and in the danger zone.
Enjoy Healthy Plants!
Don’t be that forgetful dude ever again. Happy Plant is like the household wingman that will remind you to take care of your plants. It’s that’s simple.

This app has been the key to having nice plants. It has maybe even turned me into a plant a holic! It helps remind you to water and logs the progress of growth!
I can now keep my plants alive!!

This little app is so handy and I don't think I'd have a single plant alive, let alone 6, without this app. I don't have a prominent green thumb, but I love having plants around in my apartment. I've never been able to keep them alive until I got this app about 7 months ago. I generally keep succulents and cacti, I love that they are not high maintenance, but I've always either under-watered or over-watered them. Since they don't need to be watered every day, I would forget when the last time was and just watered them sometimes too soon or too late. So this app keeps me on top of when I need to ACTUALLY water them and, *bonus* I love that I can take pictures each time and see the progress of them over time!!
Nice photo idea, very limited in use

This is a cute app that just tracks watering. There are better apps out there (like Water Me) that track water and fertilizer and anything you want with reminders. The ONLY feature this app has that I really like is the photo montages it creates automatically. When you water, the app encourages you to snap a picture of your plant and then stores it with that particular plant. When you look at the plant entry, it cycles through the photos you took so you can see how much it has grown. It's a nice feature that I thought I could use with my new container garden, but it doesn't allow me to access the phone's photo album. My intend was to do all my watering and snap pictures as I went, then update the entries inside where it is cool and less humid . Instead, I would have to do each one outside. While not cumbersome for one or two plants a person may have, it is for multiple plants. You also can't add photos between waterings. The snap feature is tied to the waterings. You can't skip or delay a watering. You can't water more than once a day. I'm pretty sure you can't track additional waterings between the scheduled time you set. Sometimes, a plant doesn't need to be watered. Sometimes it needs it earlier. There is no way to adjust for this in the app.I'm grateful for the developer in providing a trial. The app only costs $1.99. I probably would have dropped the 2 bucks if I could have added photos via my album or if the tracking feature was more robust and adjustable. As it is, I don't find it useful to me.
Cute idea, needs work.

I love the idea of taking a picture with every watering and turning them into a progress video. However the app needs more flexibility built in. The app doesn’t have access to my camera so when I take a picture at watering time it doesn’t add it to my camera roll. I can see some people might not like to fill their camera roll with plant pictures but it should be an option. Also there is no way to load a photo not taken with the app. Those are trivial, but the real issue I have is that my plants really can’t live on a strict watering schedule. It’s nice to have the reminder to check my plant but sometimes it needs watering earlier or later than scheduled and I can’t water earlier without having to change each plant’s schedule. I should be able to water any time and just use the schedule as a reminder, not a restriction. It would also be nice to have a notation of the last date the plant was watered to track patterns for each plant based on the current weather conditions etc that might necessitate changes to the overall schedule.
Happy Planters, we've got updates!
Your plant selfies had been left in the wild. Until now, there's been no way to manage, add, or delete photos. Well, that changes today.
Photo management is here — delete, export, and import your plant pics. Finally, you're the boss of your own plant photo library. Spring cleaning just got real.
Bug fixes — we squashed some pesky bugs that were bugging out (pun totally intended). Things should run smoother than a freshly watered fern.
We know it's not the flashiest update, but sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. Like watering on time. Or not losing that perfect "new leaf" photo.
As always, your feedback is our fertilizer. Keep them coming!
And if Happy Plant is helping your green crew thrive, please support us with an App Store review. Your kind words give us more energy than photosynthesis on a sunny day.
Sunshine to your day!!
