Concerns about the new design

This app is really cool! I just have some complaints about the new design that came with the recent update. The green happy days blend in with the green background on the calendar so its really hard to see. The same goes with the dates where the text is light gray instead of black (which I still don’t understand why it does that). The opposite happens when set on dark mode. The dates with lighter text pops out and the default dark gray color blends in with the background. Even the name of the month is difficult to see.

Now for positives, I really like the gradient backdrop! The green color resembles the happy option which is nice. I prefer it to the plain yellow background. Also, seeing the date when choosing emotions is pretty helpful.

My dream feature is a memo feature in which users are able to write descriptions of what happened on each day to remind them why they felt happy or sad on a certain day. It would be fun to reflect in the future.

Can’t wait for more updates! :)
