I love the timer and how it notices if I walk away — those offers to keep time and stop timing, discard time and stop timing, etc. Lifesaver.
I wish that the tie-in for Teamwork were a bit stronger so when I create a timer, it'd be attached to a Teamwork job without me having to start all of my timers in Teamwork and then edit/continue in the Desktop App.
Lot’s of window layer issues.
Edit: A major update has fixed a lot of the bugs. The remaining annoyance is that it’s constantly not layered correctly with other windows. It get’s stuck on top of full screen apps all the time. I just want it to stay docked to the menu bar, but it is constantly disconnecting itself and floating around. Wen you click the “+” to add an entry, that pop-up is often behind the main app window. This seems like it should be pretty easy to get right.
While this is better than the previous version, it’s still a hassle and should see updates and bug fixes more frequently. Isn’t that the promise of the subscription model? I added one star from my previous review for the improvements.

The number of bugs in this and every other version of this app is enought to make me want to leave the service all together. Of course, there’s a barrier to exit, but one of these days when I have a bit of time, I’ll shut it down. I’ve contacted support directly and reported a lot of bugs spanning multiple versions, but they never get fixed. The app loses my information all the time, and that’s unacceptable. If you were thinking of signing up with harvest, don’t. There are better services out there.
Lacks a start/stop timer shortcut and touchbar support
How the product manager(s) think it should not be a priority to make a shortcut to start and stop the timer for a time tracking app makes me question all that is just and sane in software development. The only option is to start a new timer. Its like making a car without a functioning door and telling people to just climb through the window. Just utterly and completely mind boggling. I've asked for it like 4 times and they just could not care less.
I would just love to hear what the person who repeatedly shoots this feature down has to say. Even a short explantion as to why they can't prioritize it at the moment would go a long way - instead, their support team continues to issue an empty, canned response.
I wish this were open source - I would have added it myself by now.
Touch bar support would be awesome too - but again, I'm always shot down whenever I check up on the feature, with no insight as to why or what their focus is instead.
