Good and supports lots of Algorithms

This seems like the best choice for calculating checksums. A few improvements would help make it less awkward: (1) Preference to clear the list of checked files on quit, so they don’t have to be manually deleted and kept forever. (2) Default algorithm that’s highlighted within my chosen list of commonly-used algorithms on the main screen. It appears to remember the algorithm chosen on the last file, which is handy for checking lots of files with the same algorithm, but there’s no visual indication of that being selected like bold text.

not very fast

The first file I tried it on was 2.4 GB. It has been more than a few minutes and it has yet to complete as I write this. I'm not at all impressed, except by the seeming lack of utility. Finally done, it computed 9 different checksums, not including the CRC16 or CRC32 even though those were selected in the Algorithms menu. The one I was looking for (MD5) compared favorably to the native Mac md5 result.
