Tested on my iPad, iOS 10.3.3 and my iPhone 6S Plus, iOS 11.2.5
Both devices pick up the signal and hold the connection no problem. The image has a very narrow depth of field, everything else is blurry and grainy. This means you can only look at a very small area, and only few inches in front of the lens. The frame rate is probably 1 frame per sec. The stiffness of the conduit is sufficient to hold its shape, but does not give you a whole lot of control. The recording feature is nice, the images save in pictures on your device. I got this to inspect heat exchangers on furnaces and boilers. Not great but sufficient. Like I said, for the money.
Not working with iOS 11 or iPhone X
The app DID work with my iPhone 7 Plus and iOS 10. However, after upgrading to iOS 11, it is no longer working. Also will not work on my new iPhone X running iOS 11. On both iPhones the app hangs and shows no video. Hopefully they will fix this issue soon, I have an urgent need to use the Endoscope that paid big bucks for. (Please contact me if support can be given)
Works well on iOS 11.2.6 on iPhone 7+
Used this with the CreateGreat 10M boroscope and it worked well. It snapped pictures and did what it should. I believe the other reviewers who were getting the gray screen were somehow being disconnected from the scope's WiFi transmitter. That happened to me, too, when I accidentally bumped the power button. To fix, just force-close the app, connect to your home/normal WiFi, reconnect to the camera's WiFi, re-open the app... voila! Not bad for a less-than-$30 wireless camera.
