Update to the "unable to update": with the mid-July update out, delete the app, then re-install the app from the MAS. The app on the SiliconDust website is the April version (and requires Rosetta), the MAS version is the latest version. Bonkers method to update…I use this to update my 4k tuner, using Channels on my Mini and ATV. The latest couple of updates can't be downloaded on a Mac for some reason on the macOS Apple Store end - it updates and runs without issue on my iPP and iPhone (4 stars for those versions of this app...).

After being stuck for months, ( no device found, then it finds it, but has protocol error to play content ) then there has been an update in the app store for months, but each time I try to update or download; there is an error and it says the app is not available. Today, fed up, I delete the program, install anew and it is playing content within 3 seconds!
ATSC 3 Channels are encrypted and no longer receivable

This is not a SiliconDust issue. BUYER BE AWARE: The best I can understand is the committee that is controlling the deployment decided encryption was more important than viewership. Encryption was enabled before a reverse process (decryption) was available for all platforms. Therefore, if you have a streaming box or a Mac, you may not be able to receive the beautiful, pristine ATSC 3 channels.
