HDMI Cable Certification App enables consumers to authenticate HDMI products tagged with the HDMI Unique Label to get the assurance that they can fully enjoy the complete 4K/UltraHD experience when viewing 4K content.

How to use:
To scan a Tag simply open the app and frame the code into the bracket. After that, move the phone while keeping the tag in focus, so that we can capture the hologram from different angles. The app will automatically recognize the authenticity, and confirm if you have a real or a fake product. Please also refer to the in-app tutorial for additional instructions.

Why use HDMI Cable Certification App:
• You can make sure the product you want to buy or will be using is authentic and thus safe to use
• Help us fight counterfeiting
• It’s free, there are no costs at all for you (with the acceptance of data usage)

In order to use the App, your phone will need a camera with autofocus and a working internet connection.

Works great

Properly authenticates a hdmi premium certified cable. Meaning they can handle all of hdmi 2.0b specs hdr, CEC, arc, 18gb bandwidth on up, higher audio bitrate, all hd surround codecs our such as Atmos, and more to come! You will def want this when buying a so called premium cable to verify that it is authentic and not a knock off, so whoever asked what this is for here you go!
