This is wonderful!

I enjoy this app. The questions in setting up my profile is helpful. I do not want to be on hormones from my Dr. I had endometriosis, I’d like to do other forms of treatment. After my hysterectomy the surgeon recommended No HRT. Obgyn put me on progesterone, and the vivelle Dot. I stopped taking the estrogen pill. I just can’t make sense of it and justify it. Can’t do it. Hopefully I can keep away the Endometriosis, take of of my special lil situation a lil better than Obgyn. Sorry girl I love you, lol but… anyway thanks for reading!!!

Good - just needs a tweak or two

I am entering perimenopause and have read great things about this app, so I downloaded it and have tried it for just over 2 weeks, around and on my period. I am also comparing it with another cycle tracker, Lively (I'm trying the free unpaid features version).

While I like that Health Her app doesn't push subscriptions or prescriptions, there are a few things that it feels like it's missing IMO.

The main thing i need in this app is the feature to END one's period. I constantly get prompts to track my period symptoms when it's ended and I'm still using it outside of period days to track general hormone-related cyclical symptoms and triggers.

I find that Lively provides more holistic education and information regarding all cycle phases and associated symptoms related to sleep, diet exercise and stress levels.

I think those data aspects of perimenopause are equally important for understanding our own bodies and this vague transition period of perimenopause that it seems our own medical doctors barely understand.

Data is the love language of the medical world. Let's give them and us more so we can speak the same language on our checkups!

Would get 5 stars if there were other options

Some of these things are not for me and there is no other option but to pick one that doesn’t fit my needs or physical issues.. in the stages of menopause I am only 5 months into full on menopause and I had to pick the 12 month one because it was the closest one to me… so if you want a true menopause app you need to include every one and nfn since I started menopause I have had a crazy High libido…. And I am afraid of breaking my husband… he is 65 and I am 50 so…. We have been together for 30 years and we have been intimate like when we first got together… just a slight change of only one time a day except for a few times… and doing it by myself is just not doing it for me so ….. you need other options for people that aren’t common..
