Not just for Vienna, the app has walks and self-guided tours in many locations. All are in German with many in other languages. Many are free, but several are paid. You can find a lot of interesting walks/tours to keep you busy in Vienna and nearby cities as well. Central Cemetery, City Hall, markets, sewerage system, museums, neighborhoods, Melk, Krems, etc. Download the file then listen offline. Great app, but could have more files in other languages. Unfortunately, some files are old and undated so some info may be outdated/incorrect.

My family of 3 each downloaded the app for our much anticipated tour of Melk Abby. The app downloaded Elaine after charging us. After about 3 segments played the app ceased to function and I was not able to recover it. It was gone and I could not even go back to reload it.I would like for someone to contact me so that I can arrange a refund. It is a great idea, you guys just have not figured it out yet.

Definitely definitely download this before you enter Mel Abby for a very comprehensive audio guide. This is less than 5 Euro. Instead of stopping to read every exhibit you can listen and see at the same time to keep moving through and saving time while enjoying more of the visual splendors of Melk Abby. Also, download the extra app for the Gardens tour, which is only one euro and well worth it.

If a guide download gets interrupted, the app is screwed and you have to delete it and start over to get that guide. It also randomly stops playing sometimes, etc. annoying.
