Use your iPhone's camera to measure your heart rate.

The applications detects how the colour of your finger changes when blood flows into it. Similar to the way that a medical pulse oximeter works.

Great for its purpose and I'd like more

It's a running view of heart rate. Perfect for my counselor work: clients are asked to be aware of heart rate during discussions. Wish it gave a report or history somehow to track anxiety over time. Pencil and paper works for now. I just list the heart rate range instead of an average as it sometimes changes quickly and it'd be impossible to gather all data points.

Fails in iOS 8.1

On iPhone 4s running iOS 8.1 app fails immediately after tapping the screen.

Disappointed that it doesn't keep any record

Very quickly and easily, it not only gives the number of beats per minute big and bold, but also shows a visual graph of each beat going up and down - not sure what the higher and lower spikes mean (would be nice if this site had more info or if the app itself did, but I can't find it - and that's about it. I'd like to see a record kept.
