Great game. I play a little bit nearly everyday. I play either one of two games. I can play the ‘computer’ players and I have the settings where if you take the jack of hearts you get a minus 10 points and if you shoot the moon you have a choice of either adding to your opponents or minus your score. I play that game to 100 points. Another game you play with real people. That is setup the traditional way to 50 points. My biggest gripe is those players with leave the game if they start to lose like when they get the queen of spades. I hold up the game till a ‘computer’ player takes over. These players are simply rude, and I have gotten to the point I can recognize their player names, and know they won’t stay and continue playing, so sad. But I do really like real good players it can be very challenging as they are not predictable and some will make mistakes so it makes for a different game. The play is free with advertising, that can be expected. But overall my favorite game. 5 stars to the developers!

I have tried to add feedback and get help in the app. It says I need a mail account. I don’t know how to sign up for one since I use gmail on my phone, not Apple mail. I wish there was an account tab where I could put in my email for this purpose. We use the app to play Hearts with my partner’s senior citizen parents. It’s the best app we have found but the problem is they can’t always figure out how to escape the ads between rounds and eventually one of them often times out. Alternatively if someone loses hold of their phone and accidentally hits the “boot” button on a player, they are immediately booted. It would be helpful if there was an “Are you sure you want to boot this person from the game....” pop-up, OR (even better) if you could re-invite or re-add the person back into the game instead of having a random person (or Watson) added to the crew. I’d love help with these issues instead of airing my frustration here. I wish I could write the company myself. Sorry if this is a negative review. We love the app when it works but tonight, for example, it was a problem and we had to restart 3 times and the third time we had to stop because my partners mom’s eyes are so bad she was getting tired. Thanks for trying to help.

I love this game! It is my addiction! I like that you can pass the Queen, it adds strategy. Allow opening lead to be either a club or a diamond I would also like the freezing in the app to improve which has caused me to be booted more than a few times. Also, if a player leaves the game then ends up winning the game, there is currently zero points awarded or subtracted. I think in that case, the 2nd place person should get 15 pts, 3rd place should get 10pts and last place 5pts or zero (whatever your thought is). When someone leaves a game before it is over, there should be a 10 pt penalty! There should be no penalty charged and no points lost if the game glitches before it ends and people get booted. If a person goes into stall mode b/c they are loosing or feel a player shouldn’t have stuck them with the queen, that staller should be booted if they don’t play within 7 seconds AND they should be penalized 10 points. This scenario is the most frustrating when playing hearts in this app. Lastly, if you win like 10 games in a row, you should provide a 50 point bonus for that unbelievable achievement. Add comment “nice title”, “good play”, “sorry”

An unsettling trend I’ve noticed playing against AI is that the more consecutive games you win, the worse off your hands become. Not “oh crap can’t shoot with two three and ace” but “I started with no spades into Ace/Queen pass and AI drawing spades second trick”. The frequency at which I get dealt two or fewer spades with one being the ace or queen every time is odds defying. And always after winning a few games or more in a row against the hardest difficulty. The AI will ALWAYS draw spades against you, but they always seem to hold off when one of them has it. They also have no qualms taking points to stop the player from shooting the moon but will blindly throw out Aces, Kings, and queens willy nilly is an AI is attempting it. I think the only reason I keep playing is I might be borderline masochistic and enjoy fuming at the AI every time they allow one of their AI brethren to get 26. If you thought you might escape the hell that is a constant cheating 3v1 and jump into multiplayer, there is no escape there. Players are often rude and even to my bigger dismay flat out incompetent. Someone is shooting the moon? Better just let them have it instead of taking 4 points! The only consistent thing I find from game to game is people love drawing spades regardless of score or their chance of winning, since ranked does not allow a shooter to choose if they would take or give the 26. A billboard with flashing lights saying “Queen here” would be more subtle than how the majority of the players act with their hands.
