Liking Heckle very much!
After the death of Periscope there has been a vacuum in the live streaming world for another app/community that scratches the same itch for me. Most of the other live streaming apps have become super weird and flashy and generally not much fun. For me Heckle is the closest to the community and laid-back vibe that I liked about Periscope back in the day. At the moment it seems like Heckle is still growing so there doesn’t seem to be a huge user base yet, but the base that is there has heart and I’m optimistic about its growth and I like the way it feels. Good job! Looking forward to Heckle’s future.
Outstanding Broadcasting App
So, so much to like about this wonderful live broadcasting app with replay and global search capabilities too! So much better and faster than Periscope with constant development and upgrades…always a surprise new feature. Without a doubt the most friendly people who broadcast worldwide. Thank you 😃
Streams after you have ended your stream
This is an invasion of our privacy. My husband started a live stream at 4:16pm eastern time and ended shortly after. Our friend texted us at 11pm asking, “has he been live for the last 7 hours?!” NO….he had streamed for a few mins, and ended. App was closed out. When I checked at 11pm, his account WAS LIVE. I was able to enter his stream, other viewers had been in and out. we immediately deleted this app. Had viewers been able to hear our conversations all night? See what we were doing!? This bug needs fixing immediately

Sorry for the fright this has obviously given you. However you can be reassured nobody could hear your conversation. The bug here is that the broadcast stays active for COMMENTS ONLY if the app is force-closed (or battery dies) until manually cleared by an admin user. There is no way your sound or video was still able to be recorded or heard/seen by anyone after you closed the app. This is not technically possible in iOS.
The app is currently v0.504 and still has many bugs.
