Heeyo: AI friends for kids +4

I recently tried an English AI early education app for my child, and I am thoroughly impressed. The app offers a variety of interactive lessons that are both engaging and educational. The AI technology personalizes the learning experience, adapting to my child’s pace and level of understanding. The colorful animations and fun games keep my child entertained while learning new vocabulary and grammar. I also appreciate the progress tracking feature, which allows me to monitor my child’s development and identify areas that need improvement. Overall, this app is an excellent tool for early English education, making learning enjoyable and effective for young children. We've been using this AI learning software with our four-year-old daughter, and it’s been fantastic! The way it combines pictures and text makes learning so much fun for her. For example, she loves the colorful animal pictures when learning new words and the interactive math games that help her count. She’s picking up new concepts so quickly, and she always looks forward to her learning time. This software has really made a difference in her education. I highly recommend it to any parent wanting to make learning enjoyable and effective for their young kids.

The app is currently quite buggy and has been released to early. The only context that you can program about your child is their their interests and age. The character you create don’t have any meaning or depth to them other than their voice and look. The “chat” feature is okay and will generate content on its own which is nice but it aggressively pushes the user to click on paid content.

The “educational” is solely focused on factual knowledge. (As a lifelong educator it is disappointing to see this called educational). The learning social emotional skills part is not effective and lacks real life context. The adventure skills are painfull experiences. The theory is okay. It’s supposed to be Dora the Explorer episode that actually hears and responds to the the child but it just isnt there yet.
