According to the recent reports, only less than 2% of the population knows about CPR (Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation) thus indicating great concerns about the importance of guidelines and
knowledge of successful resuscitating in case of “Out of Hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrests “(SCA)
to help to reduce the death rate.
 
With 4280 deaths per 1 Lakh population, 112 deaths per minute, succumbing to cardiac arrest, the
studies strongly recommend immediate steps to impart Cost-effective, Quality CPR training not
only to Medics, Paramedics but also to school children and other laymen.
