The app was created by Hellenic Heritage in collaboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union – NextGeneration EU.
The app worked fine for me, but the content for Ancient Olympia was 90% worthless. It’s mostly descriptions of where the structures are, how many rooms and columns they have and which direction to find the entrance. I was hoping it would bring the ruins to life like the Acropolis companion app. Not worth the download.

The presentation of the tours is done with such a bland and monotonous tone. The information given is not for the average person but may be more interesting to an archaeology student. I tried to give these guides a chance but lost interest with the amount of unnecessary details.

Crashes every time

As a person who wishes of living in the ancient world, I think this is a great start. There’s tons of sites and I’m sure it takes a lot of effort to compile all this together. I’m sure as updates happen the app and information will only get better
