Paving the Way to Success
I am pleased to see that Skip has greatly increased and improved their impressive services that are made available to small business owners and budding entrepreneurs. I last attempted to navigate Skip prior to the Covid pandemic shutdown. I abandoned the grant award process because I found it confusing to navigate and became frustrated.
The informative articles, links, as well as the numerous grant applications, features and resources are a God Send to novice business owners like myself.
Did NOT work AT ALL.
Booked my appointment to change my previous state driver’s license to a Texas one. Three major issues:
1.) Sent me to the wrong address, in Texas there’s the DMV and the Department of public safety (the public safety office is where you get your renewed license). Skip sent me to the public safety office and called it the DVM. These two offices do NOT work with each other interchangeably.
2.) You have to get and vehicle inspection and Texas vehicle registration BEFORE you can obtain a Texas driver’s license. Skip made absolutely no mention of how to prepare or the prerequisites to getting the license.
3.) When I checked for my appointment details there was only information for somebody totally different at a totally different date!
All in all, poor communication, no helpful tips, totally incorrect information makes for a poor service.
Customer Service
I payed for a concierge to take my driving test, but after I realized I didn’t need it, I canceled and the $270 was back on my card in less than 2 days. That was good as it is. Then, I was mistakenly charged $84 for a service I do not recall having ever selected, and I think my lack of an account proves that I didn’t, that was also promptly refunded, and the customer service agent was quite nice and understanding the entire time. If the customer service is anything to go by, I’d gladly recommend...
