Hello Weather
Ratings & Reviews
When I embarked on a mission to find a good weather app, I tried at least 10, and Hello Weather was the final winner. The excellent user interface, the multiple data sources and the additional info available, such as wind or cloud cover, are clear winners over others. It’s excellent. And referring to the UI again- other apps jam too much information, often in an unpleasant experience. Hello Weather strikes an excellent balance of what you need with a pleasant interface.
I started using this app because my previous favorite stopped working. I didn’t think I would like anything as much as my old favorite and I was right. I like this one even more. A lot more. My old favorite started working again and I tried it but now it doesn’t measure up so I’m deleting it. This is a great weather app. I’m so glad I found it!
Hello Weather is a great alternative for people who want an app with a sleek, Apple-like interface, but want options for more weather sources. When I had a confusion about a subscription that Apple did not fix, I reached out to the developer directly and he went out of his way to put things right. Support indie!
Bring back the happy, distinctive, app icon - the new one is a house/peeking sun is lost in the blur of the other boring apps. Also, the previous data was much easier and intuitive, this new version is poorly and illogically designed. As as long time Pro member and promoter of Hello Sunshine, we deserve better. Is this the AI version? If so, bring back the real people!
Why would I use anything else. Simple. Gives me the weather, extended forecast, radar and more. Sources from good services. Pay them! We need more companies like this. Support the ridiculous concept of not tracking every move I make.
I really enjoy the design and UX of this weather app. However, I find the radar unreliable (slow loading, sometimes doesn’t work at all), and unfortunately push notifications have never worked for me. If both of these improved it’d be 5 stars for sure, and the only weather app I’d use.
