I enjoy getting my news via the paper and my phone. Especially when I’m out of town the phone keeps me up to date on what’s going on at home.
What I don’t like is when I log on and the message is that I’ve run out of whatever and need to subscribe or sign in. I’m already a subscriber and that message drives me crazy. Especially if I’m out of town and my password does’t work.
I’m 83 and can only keep one password in my head at a time! Just keep me connected, please.
Thank you.

The Herald is Local, So Am I

We moved to Snohomish County after 40 years in another state. The Herald provided the much needed direction of almost anything Smohomish County, at least what is newsworthy. All the ads opened our ideas of where to shop for everything from groceries to a dentist. Also, their writers do a special job of making anyone new in town feel very comfortable in a new home. Having said that, someone who had lived here their entire lives would greatly benefit from this newspaper.

News at my fingertips

The app works well. I can choose between two formats, one is a list of news stories, the other is a digital version of the printed newspaper.

At first this made no sense to me, thought it would be impossible to read the digital version of the paper, but of course it’s very straightforward, you just tap on the article you wish to read and it opens on your device.
