Heroic | The Training Platform Ratings and Reviews

I can’t express how much I have learned from starting to follow the Heroic program and going through the coaches certification program. By using the information I have learned in the program I have made improvements in all areas of my life, but specifically in the Big 3, Energy, Work, and Love. My wife has also benefited from hearing some of Brian and Michael’s lectures and what I talk to her about. One of the biggest areas has been our nutrition. We now prepare most of our food Sunday for the week and are eating 99% Whole Foods, eliminating the majority of processed foods from our house. Focusing on our AM and PM book ends have allowed us to really dial in on our energy. I train 7 days a week and have started meditating and doing breath work for 12 min a day. I just finished the coaches program which means tomorrow is day 1. I invested in the Lifetime Coaches membership because I want to continue to grow and learn in this program. I think the most important thing about the information I have learned is that I am putting it into action. That’s what is making all the change. I am driven to get a little better each day so that I can help my family, friends, and teammates reach their goals and dreams! Close the gap! All In! Let’s Go!!

I took my time with the app before I wrote this review because I needed to experience it as part of my daily life for awhile. I can say without doubt this app has everything you need for where you are at in your life. Need daily reminders of goals around energy (health/wellness), work, and love - this app makes it easy for you to do that. Need to present to your leadership and stand in front of a room of execs you’ve never met before - this app has tools for that (literally helped me deliver a successful presentation to a board of directors and the c-suite - a first for me. Between the meditation training and the masterclass on public speaking, I was set.) Need to make resolutions your way of life ongoing? Need to know how to increase your energy? How to build habits that stick, how to lead a team effectively? This app is for you. It really does have everything for everyone at every time and stage of your life. It’s been life changing for me and if you spend some time with it, it will be life changing for you too! I loved it so much I also became a Heroic coach which has helped me so much in my career. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

The Heroic app asks you every single morning to re-commit to your virtues and micro goals/targets. At first I thought that might be a little annoying, but I added it to my existing daily affirmations habit and mark them off as a say them to myself in the mirror. After a few days I really understood the ‘why’ behind doing that. If you aren’t reminding yourself who you want to be and the identity you want to build on a daily basis, it’s very easy to forget about those things and this app really resets you on the right course every morning. I’m completely paraphrasing but Brian commented during the live stream launch party that he too would find it hard to meet his New Years resolutions if he didn’t remind himself of his targets every day. I’m very thankful that Brian and team built this app to help all of us optimize and actualize with! I also can see how committed the team is to continual improvement and optimization of the app, and I’m excited to see what they roll out next for us!

I loved Optimize Coach and am a big fan of the app. I use it daily and I think it’s been a great way for me to put into practice everything I learned from Optimize Mastery series. The vision, the purpose, the ambition for Heroic is amazing, and I’ve been a founding member since I first heard of the idea.

One thing I feel is badly needed to be brought to the app is an offline mode. Often times I want to be away from my phone (indeed this is stressed by Brian), but I still want to swipe targets. While I can wait until later, I often forget and miss out on the social engineering of the hit of dopamine from the target swipe. I keep an old phone without service as an iPod specifically for just Heroic and Oura, but it doesn’t work if I’m off WiFi.

As much as I appreciate trying to turn our addictive technology into a force for good, having Heroic tied to my cell phone still just provides too much cognitive dissonance/conflicting purposes. I’ll of course make do without Offline mode, but I’d love to see it so I can dedicate one old phone to be an Arete machine :)

This app has been life changing and has change how I approach my life each and every day. I am married and my spouse and I have 5 kids under the age of 8, I am a postdoctoral researcher, and religious believer. This app has allowed to identify the essential things in my life and helped me remove the nonessential 1% at a time. Making me a better husband and father, a better researcher, and a better all around person. I am thankful for Brian and the Heroic team.

My only problem with the app is that it is an app. I primarily use the Light Phone 2 as my primary phone (I have been for over a year now) and with this amazing app I still have to lug around an old iPhone which I connect to the Wi-Fi and use when needed. I do not like carrying around two phones throughout my day, I like this app so I use it and the heroic team is amazing, but I wish there was a different alternative for some odd individual like me.

But keep it up Ya’ll it truly is an awesome app!

Truly more wisdom and science in the least time with daily pearls and an outstanding guide to design and achieve your best life. Worth 100 times the price, but only if you invest the 5 minutes daily to start small, gain momentum and begin your upward spiral! No wonder it’s recently been incorporated into Navy Seals and West Point training, as well as some Olympic teams and enlightened corporations. This program distills the best information from hundreds and hundreds of books, shucking all those oysters to give us the shiny actionable pearls! I’m 9 years into it and still learning daily as new book highlights and wisdom nuggets are being generated. Also included are steps to design and then live your “masterpiece days” in a way that can be repeated, resulting in a compounding effect and leading to greater success and relationships. YOLO, so I recommend giving it a go, but only if you are willing to invest 5 minutes a day. 👍

I became interested in Optimize and then Heroic while trying to master a specific set of habits using spreadsheets and To Do apps as triggers. I needed a way to hold myself accountable, while using each gain to propel me forward. I was cautiously hopeful that Heroic could be “that” technology . To my supreme delight Heroic delivers all that I hoped for and more. The app Is based on universal principles that can be easily personalized. These are the habits and principles I aspire to in the deepest part of my soul, so it’s a joy for me to achieve them each day. Most importantly on those days when I’m not 100% it helps me work towards being my best anyway. My days are more productive and balanced than ever. The app is elegantly designed and easily customizable. I’m so grateful (swiping right..lol) that Brian and the Heroic team have developed this innovative way use technology for both the individual and greater good.

I had a dream where I was out of control flying in a place I had not been before. I received a new one and found my way. That dream came when my friend went back to school. I wanted to do something similar and saw then Optimize was offering coach training so I signed up.
Coach changed my life giving me habits and tools that helped me stay energized and joyful, purposeful and intentional with my time. The Optimize became Heroic and the Heroic app was launched. The app IS the new remote control for my life that my dream predicted was coming to help me! It keeps me consistent and inspired giving me access to all the content that I love, a community that is on the same journey and tools I can share with my children, friends and my yoga students. It's amazing and I cannot recommend it enough in this short of a space - but know that it would be impossible to regret adding it!

I’ve been a fan & follower of Brian’s work since stumbling upon Philosopher’s Notes 8+ years ago. I’ve devoted my career to teaching courses on social entrepreneurship & sustainable business, so I love that Heroic is both a certified B Corp and a Public Benefit Corporation.

I wanted to participate in Optimize Coach Training since Class I was announced in 2018. I was beyond grateful to be given a scholarship to join Class V in Spring 2021, graduating in January 2022— and immediately begin Advanced Coach Training.

I’m over the moon to be part of the Heroic community (as a Founding Member) — learning & practicing with Brian, Alexandra, Michael, and the entire Heroic team-- how to optimize the way we sleep, move, eat, breath, focus, celebrate with gratitude, and prosper (which literally means “move forward with hope”), so that we show up as our best selves with our energy, work, and love.

The new app is fantastic. I typically avoid apps, trying to minimize use of my iPhone, finding it easier & faster to get things done with focus on my Mac… but the new Heroic app is great. It’s super speedy & easy to use. Admittedly I even enjoy the haptic feedback when the app first launches.

The team at Heroic are truly heroes, shining a light for others. If you’re on the fence about joining Heroic, I’m confident you’ll soon be glad & grateful you did. 🙌🏼

I learned about Brian nd his work in October 2020, and instantly recognized that the system he proposed for living your best life was the piece I was missing. During 2021 I was part of his coach class IV, and it became my best year yet (also the year I turned 50) with 10+ half marathons with a personal best, a personal best on the 5K, a complete change in my eating habits that allowed me to drop 9kg’s in 4 months without feeling hungry a single day, better sleep through mouth taping (you will learn more about it) and such a more powerful and resourceful mindset, all while thriving in my work and as a family. What else do you need to be convinced? How are you going to show up for yourself today? Thank you Brian, Alexandra, Michael, and the rest of the amazing Heroic team for your daily inspiration.
