Hewell respects your privacy. I only use the data I absolutely need and nothing is stored or transmitted except to Apple (i.e. votes and crash reports) or Wikipedia (for fetching places). It's all too common these days for apps to track user behavior and sell that data to advertisers. Hewell doesn't do that. No behavioral data is collected and no data is ever sold or given to another party. Your data is yours.

Awesome, so helpful for understanding where you really are.

I don’t know why this app isn’t more popular, it works great for me here and I’m definitely going to use it in my upcoming travels. Well done!

Needs a bigger search radius

In western US, very little comes up within the maximum 9.x mile search radius. The max should be at least 100 miles, perhaps 500 miles.

Also, is it possible to pick a place and explore near said place?

Nicely done otherwise.
