HeyBuddy Club 4+

I have previously used an AirTag to keep tabs on my pets whereabouts. But if she gets lost and later found, no one knows how to contact me. The Heybuddy tag and App are a great solution to this. The cleverly written App allows me to add details about my Pet including contact info for several people, address (great because can easily update when on vacation), add medical info, etc. I get alerted when her QR Heybuddy tag is scanned with her location. The one issue I see is if someone finds her and wants to keep her (without scanning her tag) so that’s where a combination of using Heybuddy tag and AirTag may work well together. Even by itself, Heybuddy is a cost effective piece of mind and I highly recommend to anyone with a pet that wears a collar! Great staff who answers technical questions.

I purchased Hey Buddy and at first I loved it. The app worked great. I would scan my dog’s tags to check on the system working when we moved. Everything seemed to be great until recently. I tried a practice scan on both my dog’s tags and neither brought up a notification action to me or any connecting info tot he scanner. Instead a purple screen with links to downloading the app for Google and iPhone came up. This has absolutely no chance of doing what it says it will do. I’ve tried contacting customer service and have received nothing. I’ve sent a DM on their IG and they haven’t even looked at it. I still have 6 months on my subscription and it doesn’t work. I’m beyond frustrated and quite frankly angry given that my reliability on this product is misplaced. If my dog were to get separated from me, all of the fail safes would not work. I don’t have other identifying tags on him because of these tags. Essentially, we may never find each other again. We are having an epidemic of stray, lost and dumped dogs. People are stealing dogs to sell for money at an unprecedented rate and shelters are over capacity with euthanizing being commonplace. Fix this app problem or you are contributing to the potential immense grief of all your customers and their beloved furbabies. You’ve received payment. Now provide the service you advertise!!!

As a person who works in the dog industry, it is vital to have products that help keep your dog safe. This product is not one of them. Do not waste your money or your time. I bought this for the “just in case scenario”. I wanted to test it out before just “assuming” it works because the company says so. It does not work as advertised. Yes someone can call or text me but I should also get a notification the tag has been scanned. Now what good does it do if you are looking for your dog and you do not get notified that the tag has been scanned??? I contacted the company thinking I would get the “I’m sorry you are having problems, let me stand by my product and make it right”. I got the you are an idiot and don’t know how to work your phone, not only by one person but two. I’m not a 80 year old that still has a flip phone. Im a younger person that is very functional with their phone. So customer service is poor. Asked for a return because the product does not work and was denied. Product is still in the package never placed it on my dog. This company does not care about the safety of your dog, their product or customer service. Please do not waste your time or money even though it is $10.
